From the President

The Booster Group is off to a great start but we still need more family involvement!  We meet every fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. for about one hour.  We have had lively discussions about fundraising, assist Mr. Rone with concert duties (programs, ushers etc.), and received updates about the music program that we would never have received through our students!  We are looking into different ways that we can help the vocal music groups expand in size and grow in development.  Please help us to help our musical youth!  Consider attending one of the booster meetings to give us your input—everyone is welcome!

There are many ways to aid and participate in our parent support organization. Please join with other parents who realize the far-reaching potential of the arts and take advantage of the synergy created by sharing a common educational philosophy.

The Westland Vocal Music Boosters organization ensures the future of a quality Choral program for all students who attend or will attend Westland High School. The music program at Westland High School will continue to flourish because of a substantive curriculum, a supportive administration, and exemplary parental support. You make a difference!

The goals of the booster group are to:

• Promote parental understanding
• Provide greater communication
• Promote public support
• Assist in raising funds
